Bylaw Amendments Procedures
PAC-TE’s current bylaws were adopted by the membership at the Annual General Membership Meeting on October 27, 2022.
AMENDMENTS
- Bylaws amendments may be proposed by any member or group of members to the President in writing at least 60 days before the Annual General Business Meeting and may be proposed by the Board of Directors.
- Bylaws amendments shall be submitted in writing to all voting members at least two weeks before the Annual General Business meeting at which they are to be voted upon.
- Bylaws shall be adopted or amended subject to the approval of 2/3 (two thirds) of the voting members present and voting at the Annual General Business Meeting.
- Only institutional representatives of AACTE member institutions may vote on bylaws changes which affect the relationship between the state unit and AACTE. Only institutional representatives of AACTE member institutions may vote on resolutions to be placed before the membership at AACTE’s annual meeting.
