President's Report

Since the April 2010 meeting of the PAC-TE Board of Directors, I have engaged in the following association-related activities:

  • Attended the State Board of Education Meeting;
  • Composed and submitted testimony to PDE regarding the USC online program;
  • Composed a column for NewsNotes;
  • Worked with Linda Cook on issues related to advocacy and lobbying;
  • Answered e-mails and phone calls from members expressing concerns about various issues including post baccalaureate programs
  • Maintained contact with other organizations working on issues related to teacher education;
  • Cooperatively developed with Linda Cook the agenda for the June Board retreat.
