Executive Director's Report
June 22-23, 2009Since the April 15, 2009 meeting of the PAC-TE Board of Directors, I have engaged in the following association-related activities:
- Participated in the April 16-17 Spring Conference
- Wrote and distributed minutes of the April 15, 2009 Board meeting
- Received and categorized 42 Teacher Education Assembly proposals
- Cooperatively planned, with Chairperson Bernard Badiali, the May 19 meeting of the TEA planning committee
- Participated in the May 19 TEA planning meeting
- Provided a written draft of monthly executive director's responsibilities for Linda Cook
- Conferred with Linda Cook regarding executive director's responsibilities
- Revised the individual membership brochure
- Revised the institutional membership brochure
- Wrote a column for News Notes
- Coordinated the publication and mailing of News Notes
- Wrote and mailed letters of acceptance to TEA presenters
- Wrote and sent rejection letters to TEA proposal submitters
- Sent letters of invitation to incoming PAC-TE Board members
- Wrote and sent letters to TEA presenters regarding the dates, times and locations of their presentations
- At the request of the PAC-TE Journal editors wrote a submitted a reflective article concerning my ten years as executive director
- Coordinated an individual membership mailing
- Coordinated an institutional membership mailing
- Coordinated arrangements for the June 22-23 Board retreat.
