Executive Director's Report
April 15, 2009

Since the January 16, 2009 meeting of the PAC-TE Board of Directors, I have engaged in the following association-related activities:

  1. Completed and distributed minutes of the October 29, 2008 Board of Directors Meeting;

  2. Completed and distributed minutes of the January 16, 2009 meeting;

  3. Discussed with John Butzow his decision to withdraw his name from candidacy for the position of Executive Director;

  4. Informed the Board of Directors of Dr. Butzow's decision;

  5. Distributed information electronically concerning the Learning First Alliance Conference;

  6. Completed the annual AACTE report;

  7. Completed the annual ATE report (second submission);

  8. Completed with President Kathy Ruthkosky the spring 2009 Conference program;

  9. Advertised in two mailings and three electronic mailings the 2009 Spring Conference;

  10. Sent three reminders to membership regarding the 2009 Call for TEA Proposals;

  11. Coordinated arrangements with the Penn State Conference Center personnel for the Spring Conference;

  12. Coordinate arrangements for the April 15 meeting of the Board of Directors;

  13. Cooperatively developed with President Ruthkosky the agenda for the April 15 Board meeting;

  14. Responded to daily emails and telephone inquiries.
