Executive Director's Report
April 10, 2008

Since the last meeting of the Board of Directors on January 18, 2008, I have engaged in the following organization-related activities:

  1. Wrote and distributed minutes of the January 18 meeting;

  2. Completed and submitted the Annual Report to the A.A.C.T.E.;

  3. Contacted and confirmed Ron Cowell’s participation as the keynote speaker for the 37th Annual Teacher Education Assembly;

  4. Conducted two surface mailings and three email reminders concerning the 2008 Spring Conference;

  5. Conducted two surface mailings and three email reminders of the T.E.A. and P.E.R.A. Calls for Proposals;

  6. Received and coordinated 2007-08 membership payments and registration payments for the Spring Conference;

  7. Maintained intermittent contacts with Presidient Hornung; and

  8. Responded to daily voice and email messages and inquiries.
