Executive Director's Report
October 28, 2009

Since the September 18, 2009 meeting of the Board of Directors, I have engaged in the following association-related activities:

  • Completed and distributed the minutes of the September 18, 2009 meeting;
  • Conducted updates on the TEA 2009 program;
  • Met with Executive-Elect Linda Cook on two occasions to engage in job orientation discussions;
  • Assembled materials for Mary Dupuis to use in the ATE Unit Awards process;
  • Engaged in discussions with personnel at AACTE regarding their participation in the TEA;
  • Sent PAC-TE Board Service Awards checks to designated agencies;
  • Received and processed daily surface and email materials relevant to the TEA;
  • Processed registrations for the TEA;
  • Ordered and received the plaque for the Teacher Educator of the Year Award;
  • Conducted a third institutional membership mailing;
  • Organized registration materials and business meeting materials;
  • With Kathy Ruthkosky, formulated the meeting agendas for October 28 and 29, 2009;
  • Responded to daily phone and email communications;
  • Secured hospitality items for the TEA
