Dr. James Flynn will complete a fifth two-year term as PAC-TE Executive Director on October 31, 2009. He has decided not to continue in the position after that date. PAC-TE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Position Description
- Maintain the organization's office
- Keep organizational files current
- Initiate and respond to organization-related communications
- Coordinate institutional membership
- Coordinate individual membership
- Coordinate the publication of News Notes
- Complete AACTE and ATE annual reports
- Keep organizational by-laws current
- Advertise for nominations for Teacher Educator of the Year award
- Coordinate the process of service awards by the organization
- Represent the organization at regional, state, and national conferences
- Maintain communications with the Association of Teacher Educators and the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education
- Keep organizational website current
- Serve as a member of the Teacher Education Assembly Planning Committee
- Serve as a member of the Spring Conference Planning Committee
- Coordinate all arrangements for the TEA and Spring Conference
- Coordinate all arrangements for meetings of the Board of Directors
- Coordinate arrangements for the Annual Business Meeting
- Maintain and foster communications with partner organizations
- Perform other duties as requested by the Board of Directors
